The beautiful walled gardens provide an elegant place to sit out and enjoy the Kerry sunsets. It felt like being in a fairytale garden with a touch of Irish magic.
The marble bathrooms could be slightly more spacious.

Loved the Bar & Peacock Lounge, perfect for relaxing and indulging in Irish hospitality. The Vintage Tea Room reception with Earl Grey was classy! And the breakfast menu had a wide variety. Cons: Oh, those squeaky floors, such a unique feature. Hilarious if you're not trying to be quiet!

This is a very homely family-run hotel where the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was top quality, and the professionalism of the bar staff was impressive. I loved that the breakfast was served to order, and the homemade brown bread was very tasty. The small touches such as serving Gin in proper Gin glasses made a difference. This hotel has a quirky and individual charm that we truly enjoyed. We will definitely be returning.
For dads, it would be great to have a dedicated play area for children.

Had a great Easter getaway! The rooms were super fancy and the location couldn't be better, right by the beach. The staff were so friendly and gave us awesome recommendations for things to do in the area. Plus, they organized a gourmet picnic for our day trip, which was AMAZING. a family-friendly place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
That the floors in the hotel were quite squeaky, but honestly, it added to the charm of the old house. Another thing to note is that it may not be the best choice for families with children, but if you're a couple looking for a romantic retreat, it's perfect.

I absolutely loved the charming and elegant decoration of the hotel. The beautiful 19th-century Country House Hotel, with its stunning walled gardens, created a serene and peaceful ambiance that I adored. The hotel's general areas, including the lounge and dining area, were tastefully decorated and provided a welcoming atmosphere for relaxation. As a senior person, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with no stairs to climb and spacious corridors that made it easy for me to navigate with my walking aid.
I would have preferred if the staff, especially the young ones, were a bit more attentive to the needs of senior guests. While they were friendly, I felt they could have been more considerate and helpful in assisting us with any extra requirements or providing recommendations for activities and attractions suitable for older individuals.

Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast served to their room, and the bar serves good quality food. the staff is friendly and welcoming, ensuring a warm and enjoyable stay.

During my recent stay at a charming country house hotel, I had the pleasure of enjoying their excellent food and service. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, all clearly marked for allergens, ensuring that everyone's dietary needs were met. I opted for the monkfish and prawn dish, which was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere at the bar was welcoming, and it was clear that locals also enjoyed dining and socializing here.
